Open position: Front-end software engineer

Location: Remote

Heartex creates innovative data labelling tools. We see the future without click-farms and cheap labor pretending to be an AI system. Front-End Developer at Heartex plays a critical role in advancing the interface of our labelling tool. We expect you to be startup-minded and move extremely fast.

Responsibilities

• Use your extensive knowledge of JS and software development to improve data labelling tool
• Resolve customer-facing issues and fix bugs
• Develop practices to enhance code quality and ease of maintenance, write tests

You're a good fit if you...

• Have experience in creating complex React applications
• Have expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML
• Have strong UX and design sensibilities
• Have experience with high quality code practices and testing
• Have experience with software performance optimization
• Are not afraid of touching backend code
• Are able to learn quickly and move even quicker
• Are goal-oriented & practice a getting things done approach
• Keep things as simple as possible but not primitive
• Care about the business implications of anything you build. You're not just creating cool stuff because it's fun

Bonus points for

• Academic background in computer science (BSc or MSc)
• 5+ years of experience writing client-side JS
• Mobx State Tree experience
• Experience with ES6
